{"id":78,"date":"2017-09-20T13:53:41","date_gmt":"2017-09-20T13:53:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/viettradecompass.com\/?p=78"},"modified":"2017-09-21T03:44:20","modified_gmt":"2017-09-21T03:44:20","slug":"vietnam-second-in-asean-in-manufacturing-sector-growth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/viettradecompass.com\/index.php\/2017\/09\/20\/vietnam-second-in-asean-in-manufacturing-sector-growth\/","title":{"rendered":"Vietnam Second in Asean in Manufacturing Sector Growth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nikkei Vietnam Manufacturing Purchasing Managers\u2019 Index (PMI) ranked second among the top three PMIs in ASEAN region in December, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The Vietnamese manufacturing sector ended 2016 on a positive note, with the Nikkei Vietnam Manufacturing Purchasing Managers\u2019 Index (PMI) coming second among the top three PMIs in ASEAN region.<\/p>\n<p>The Nikkei Vietnam Manufacturing PMI, a composite performance indicator of the manufacturing sector, posted 52.4 in December, down from November\u2019s 54 but continuing to signal solid monthly improvement in the sector\u2019s health.<\/p>\n<p>As per the latest PMI data released by Nikkei market, in December, among ASEAN countries, the Philippines was at first place at 55.7; the second place went to Vietnam at 52.4; and\u00a0 Thailand took third place at 50.6.
